Writer and Producer
Catherine's story is more than a narrative about the making of a particular movie of a particular book. It is the personal history of a woman whose dreams and heartaches also illuminate the cultural and political history of the past 60 years -- full of fascinating and compelling incidents that span the LBJ White House, the 1968 Democratic Convention, Norman Lear's television empire of the 1970s, and Hollywood more recently. Catherine's optimism and warmth shine through."
